Sun One is growing its veteran affairs direction and invites HR teams and business owners to partner with us in creating new employment opportunities for veterans, including people with disabilities acquired through their service.
We are looking for partners who are ready to adapt their production processes and workplaces to veterans’ needs, and who are open to implementing our team’s practical recommendations for their integration into the workforce.

Sun One handles the full candidate process:
- sourcing and selecting veterans for the partner’s job openings;
- organizing professional training at training centers or directly on-site at the company;
- supporting hands-on training;
- providing support while the new employee adapts to the workplace;
- giving the partner recommendations on adapting work processes, working conditions, or production setups for the comfortable employment of veterans;
- managing communication between the employer and the candidate at every stage of the partnership.
We already have successful experience bringing veterans into jobs at Ukrainian companies, and we understand how to organize the process so it’s comfortable for both the employer and the employee.
The key condition for partnership is the company’s willingness to listen to Sun One’s recommendations on adapting workplaces, organizing training, and supporting veterans. Our goal is to help businesses gain motivated employees, and to help veterans find stable work and successfully integrate into civilian life.
Solomiia Trushkovska, project manager of Sun One’s veteran affairs direction, shared why the company launched this new direction, its main goals, and plans for the future.

Why did Sun One decide to launch a separate veteran affairs direction now?
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the number of veterans returning to civilian life has kept growing, and the need for their professional adaptation will only increase going forward. We want to be ready not just to offer job openings, but to build a clear and comfortable employment process. Having a dedicated direction lets us approach this systematically: training our team, adapting internal processes, and developing partnerships with companies and veteran organizations.
What problem is Sun One’s veteran affairs direction meant to solve?
Our main goal is to make the path from job search to actual employment as clear and human as possible. We want to become a bridge between veterans and employers: helping companies better understand this audience’s needs, and helping veterans find jobs where they’re treated with respect, where their experience and needs are taken into account, and where comfortable conditions for adaptation are created.
What does it personally mean to you to lead Sun One’s veteran affairs direction?
My dad is currently serving, and many of my close ones are in the military. So for me, this topic isn’t abstract. I often think about what awaits them once they return, and I want them to have the opportunity to work in dignified conditions, with respect, support, and simple human treatment. This work is, for me, a chance to make the environment around us a little better and better adapted to the reality we’re all living in today.
If your company is interested in partnering with us and is ready to build an inclusive environment for veterans, please reach out at:
